ECCC is currently running a leadership training specifically for adults and youth of the Ethno-Cultural communities of Calgary.

Program Name: LEAD (Leadership Engagement Action and Development)

Leadership training will be provided in two parts.

Part One

• Pathways to Leadership (River of Leadership)
• Community Planning and Action
• Communication and Public Presentations

Part Two

• Understanding Policy and Systems
• Issue Analysis
• Electoral Systems and Participation
• Media relations
• Negotiation
• Social Mobilization

When the part two is complete, followed by the graduation of successful participants, another batch of adults and youth will begin from part one through part two and the cycle continues until Ethno-Cultural Communities are no longer in need of the training.
